Purim USA! How beautiful it was to celebrate our ancient traditions in a contemporary way and with a meaningful message. American style food, Uncle Sam reading the Megillah and a simultaneous hilarious slideshow put everyone in the patriotic spirit. The crowd laughed the night away with world renowned comedian Robert Cait! Thanks to our very own Jeff Lemasters-Tahir for a great opening to the show!
The Third Annual Chanukah Festival of Lights on the steps of the Historic County Courthouse in Downtown Riverside was a major success! Six hundred people participated in the evening’s festivities! Riverside County Board of Supervisors, Bob Bustor, Jeff Stone, Mayor Ron Loveridge, Presiding Judge Richard Fields, Janice Penner, RDP Executive Director and Rabbi Shmuel Fuss shared meaningful messages of Chanukah.

Chabad Jewish Community Center's Passover Seder was quite memorable. World renowned chef Martin Gilligan and his team cooked up a delicious and gourmet storm. The friendship and warmth felt among the guests and in the atmosphere was palpable. All 170 guests enjoyed the company, traditions and beauty of the holiday.
The children had a great time at their own Seder filled with stories, traditions and games.

Purim in China was a smashing celebration: the first event in the new facilities of Chabad Jewish Community Center. Walking into the center was like being transported to China. Everything was Chinese, including the food, décor, waiters and even the Rabbi. A warm, friendly and happy feeling was felt throughout the room. All enjoyed the Megillah reading accompanied by an entertaining slideshow, the fun mock chinese auction and the adorable children’s performance. Proff. Jacob Greenstein moved the crowd with a special musical presentation. Renowned comedian Steve Mittleman had his audience on the floor. This was an event not soon to be forgotten.
