| What is Shavuot? |
|
Shavuot commemorates the giving of the Torah (Five Books of Moses), beginning with the Ten Commandments, on Mount Sinai 3,323 years ago. Shavuot is of great significance, because the identity of the Jewish people and our existence as a nation is dependent on the Torah.
