Mr. Philip Bialowitz*Mr. Philip Bialowitz was a member of the bold group of men who overpowered their Nazi captors and freed hundreds of slave laborers. He is one of the eight living survivors of Sobibor, the infamous Nazi Death Camp where an estimated 250,000 perished between 1942 and 1943.

For the past 20 years Mr. Bialowitz has lectured to audiences around the world, carrying a powerful message of hope and resilience. His memoir “A Promise at Sobibor” has been published in both English and Polish and he has testified in numerous war crimes trials.

Mr. Bialowitz currently resides in New York. He is the father of five and has fourteen grandchildren.
